It's a new year - let the reflection and forecasting begin!
When you release a game (in this case just a demo), it's always a bittersweet feeling. On the one hand, you're very excited to be releasing anything at all, and it's usually a pretty well rounded feature set that you can feel pretty proud of. At the same time, there's always so much more you want to do, so many more ideas you had, and the feeling like it might never reach the full potential you have for it inside your head.
To counter this, I thought it would be fun to go back and look at just how far Plotz really came. I started to get serious about wanting to create a farming game probably sometime around 2005. I was just starting to get my groove on with ActionScript 2.0. It's now 7 years later and the game has been completely re-thought and recreated in Actionscript 3.0. That's a heck of a journey!
